| How I dye my Ellowyne's hair.. I have receive various questions about the color of my basic blond Ellowyne I call her BeeBee.. and how I did dye her hair.. of course I will share it with you .. I thank you all for looking at my auctions Note: If you fallow the instructions you will have a low tone blond.. I can not be responsible of any damage done to the doll. I hope you understand.
The first thing you should not forget is to protect the doll, do not let the paint get to your doll. Supplies Acrylic Paint-Black and Brown (the brown should not have too much red pigment if does the hair will turn pink) a plastic bowl water small towel fabric softener I Take down the hair do and carefully brush her hair, leave the hair dry on the plastic bowl add a 1/2 cup of water add the brown acrylic paint and stir well add few drops of black and stir by this time you should have a dark brown color with a brush and very carefully start painting the hair I add more paint on certain areas and less on other to have a more natural look Remember to clean any paint that gets to the doll leave the mixture about 10 minutes the hair should look dark Rinse the hair with cold..do not shampoo until the water comes clear.. mix water with fabric softener and leave for 24 hours Next day rinse the hair again and you will see that the yellow color is gone.. If you do not get the color desire repeat the procedure Thanks and good luck! Rosaleida If you do the procedure and want to share a pic please send it to my email alebay@yahoo.com
